nikon d7200 + 300f4 e pf ed vr with nikon 17e ii.. how is this combo overall...

Hello friends,
With regards to above title i iwn d7200 + 300f4E PF prime lens. I am looking for a good reach with quality option hence need your help about using a teleconvereter of Nikon 17E II with this combo.

I will appreciate it if the owners of this combo can share their thoughts on this combo. I am looking for reach which is my prime reason to decided to go with 17E II (1.7x tele.). I plan to use it for perched birds and water birds like ducks etc. If quality is good enough the i am looking to buy Nikon 1.7x teleconvereter.
I am also aware of the light falloff upto 1.5 to may be 2 stops. I live in Central India, where having very good light is no problem and so to speak i am expecting quality photographs though focus may be a little slow.
For fast action like BIF i am going to use the 300f4 E PF lens without the tele. On d7200..

So kindly please give me some feedback, openions, share pictures taken with this tele with same combo if anyone of you may have. Also do suggest the tips on improving quality. what needs to be done.

I have seen some great images of this combo. Just want to be sure and confident before i ourchase nikon 17E II teleconvereter.
