tokina_50-135Tokina AT-X Pro 50-135mm f/2.8 DX

Pros: Three-dimensionality, Construction, AF Reliability

Cons: Availability

Opinion: Hard to find used, you find it at a great price for an optics that equates to a 70-200 on full frame. Holding it in your hand is a real pleasure, building Tokina top! Mounted on the Nikon D7500 the autofocus of the machine makes the focus pleasant and quite fast, certainly not comparable to the latest slow exits but fast enough. Note posivita, does not have front/back focus. Its best value is the optical scheme that churns out truly beautiful files, excellent colors and a stunning three-dimensionality. I haven't seen any downsides yet. For the price that you find used it becomes a must-have for an Aps-c kit.

nikon_afp70-300vrNikon AF-P DX 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G VR

Pros: Cost, autofocus, stabilization, sharpness

Cons: Plastic bayonet

Opinion: Taken back to a super offer, 130euro, I thought I'd find myself a classic "tappabuchi" kit lens. It actually offers so much more! Of course it is slightly dark, especially at 300mm, where it has a minimum opening of f6.3 but otherwise I found no flaws. Just slightly close the diaphragm to find it great in sharpness but the thing that surprised me the most was the autofocus, absolutely silent (like the whole range af-p) and very fast! Another positive note is the stabilizer, which is really effective even in use with low-strength travel trestles. I found myself having to mount a heavy head on a very poor tripod and, because of the wind, there was no way to snap: a constant "micromove" causes slow times. I tried to keep the stabilizer active and managed it very effectively giving me the opportunity to take home the shot! Combined with the d7500 I feel very good, the only real flaw is the plastic bayonet that just does not go down. If you are looking for a generic telephoto lens I can only recommend it. It still remains a telezoom so useless to compare it with fixed, both for quality and openness but everything has a price!

nikon_d5600Nikon D5600

Pros: Dynamic range, high ISO seal (for APS-C), small, lightweight and ergonomic machine body, comfortable keys, adjustable display.

Cons: It does not have autofocus motor and end AF setting.

Opinion: A really compact body, almost mirrorless, light and with exceptional ergonomics (even for those who have big hands). The Nikon D5600 goes unnoticed by prying eyes but inside it encloses one of the most powerful APS-C sensors (the heart of every digital SLR). Compared to the "almost" twin D5500 you have the opportunity to crank out excellent timelapse without the help of a PC and connect to the platform Snapbridge. The latter addition, along with a very responsive touch screen, gives him a very "smart" soul... (Perhaps more appreciated by the new generations who do not disdain the touch). Although light it seems sturdy and without loose in the rings/protections in rubber. It is advisable to predirect it with respect to its twin only if it is at a little higher price, as there are no major changes that justify an exorbitant increase in price. Unfortunately, like the whole 5XXX series, it does not have the autofocus motor inside the machine body, it mounts a pentamirror and it is not tropicalized. Obviously you can not expect to have everything, considering its headband, but for my needs I am satisfied; Right from the first moment there was a positive feeling and the only one to hold it in my hand gratifies.
