Vi ringrazio per i commenti. La foto è stata scattata nel PNLAM, proprio in una di quelle zone fortemente colpite dalle nevicate e da dove non giungono buone notizie riguardo gli ungulati. Comprendo benissimo la selezione naturale ma credo che in questo frangente si vada ben oltre: ecco la motivazione del proseguimento del titolo della foto

questo è l'animale che più ambisco nelle mie uscite periodiche.
Questo esemplare è davvero imponente, un palco davvero raro.
n.b. la nostra dorsale appenninica possiede un contesto naturalistico che, per quanto riguarda il cervo, non ha nulla da invidiare ad altri paesi europei. Infatti qualità e quantità di cibo abbinati ad un clima non proibitivo ne fanno l'esemplare più grosso in tutta europa.

nb our Apennines has a natural environment that, as regards the deer, it has nothing to envy to other European countries. In fact, the quality and quantity of food combined with a climate not prohibitive make the specimen largest in all of Europe. oserei dire superba questa foto!
