Purtroppo non sono sufficientemente affermato come fotografo al punto da far posare per me il NYPD...scherzo..
erano circa le 3 AM dell' 01-01-2012. Il dispiegamento di forze dell'ordine per il capodanno più famoso del mondo (oltre 2 milioni di persone tra Time Square e il centro di Manhattan) è stato impressionante. Hanno svolto il loro compito facendo sentire si la loro presenza ma sempre in modo discreto e con il sorriso sulle labbra. A fine turno chi torna a casa ha l'aria soddisfatta di chi ha appena superato un esame importante. Evidentemente un po' di tensione loro l'hanno visstuta per davvero. Approfittando del momento mi sono appostato alle spalle di una giovane poliziotta che stava scattando una foro ricordo alla fermata della metro sulla 57esima strada.
A livello tecnico non ero per nulla convinto del BN..ho perso leggibilità sia nell ombre sia nelle alte luci..ero infatti molto in dubbio se postare questa o quella a colori (che in compenso risentiva della brutte luce dei neon della metro).
