L'ho fatta il 13 agosto dal Mottarone che tu, Marco, conosci bene, una delle poche notti senza nuvole di questa estate.
Il 40 pancake è una splendida lente su aps-c, davvero nitida e performante da bordo a bordo già a f/2.8, una lente assolutamente da avere su un corredo aps-c anche per le dimensioni ultra compatte.
Su FF è molto buona al centro, buona ai bordi e discreta agli estremi, parlo a tutta apertura, mentre diaframmando un po' diventa eccellente in ogni senso.
Questa foto è un po' croppata a dx e a sx proprio perchè agli angoli in basso la nitidezza delle piccole luci iniziava ad essere visivamente scarsa con anche problemi di coma.
E' la miglior lente a 40mm di focale che ho (tra 24-105 e 17-40), penso che il nuovo 24-70 2.8 sia meglio, non so, ma non essendo stabilizzato e costando parecchio non credo che sia adatto per me dato che ho la mano un po' tremolante, fosse stabilizzato l'avrei già preso.

I made August 13th from Mottarone you, Mark, you know well, one of the few cloudless nights this summer.
The 40 pancake is a wonderful lens on aps-c, really sharp and powerful edge to edge already at f / 2.8, a lens must-have on a aps-c kit for the ultra compact size.
On FF is very good in the middle, good edges and discreet to the extreme, I mean wide open, while diaframmando a bit 'becomes excellent in every way.
This picture is a bit 'cropped to the right and left just because the corners down the sharpness of small lights began to be visually poor with problems even coma.
And 'the best lens to 40mm focal length I (between 24-105 and 17-40), I think the new 24-70 2.8 is better, I do not know,but not being stabilized and costing a lot I do not think it is suitable for me since I have my hand a bit 'shaky, had stabilized I'd already taken.

E per tetto un cielo di stelle. Bella ti porta veramente a sognare, a credere in un mondo pulito e affascinante. Questo è forse quello che c'è sopra le nuvole ma sotto benché quelle luci e quei riflessi lo rendano alquanto intrigante non sempre troviamo quello che ci aspettiamo.
