My mountains sent on August 22, 2014 (21:45) by Il Vime. 13 comments, 1187 views.

at 122mm, 1/20 f/11.0, ISO 80, tripod. Lago di Lugano, Italy.

L'ultimo sole del giorno tocca le isolate cime dei monti Bronzone (a sx) e Pizzoni(a dx). Il Monte dei Pizzoni consiglio di salirlo percorrendo la faticosa cresta Ovest (visibile in parte qui a destra nella foto) ,itinerario escursionistico impegnativo e di soddisfazione , con panorami da brivido sul sottostante lago di Lugano. Subito dietro monte Pidaggia e monte Grona ... e sullo sfondo l'inconfondibile piramide della "sentinella del Lario" : il monte Legnone. Tutte queste montagne (che essendo vicine a casa mia ,con gli anni ho salito da ogni versante ed in ogni stagione) nonostante la quota non elevata , regalano paesaggi davvero unici e meravigliosi...e (per quanto riguarda Bronzone ,Pizzoni ed in generale tutta la Valsolda ) ci si immerge per ore in ambienti rilassanti nella più completa solitudine. Un tramonto o alba su queste cime è sempre una grande emozione...provare per credere. Foto scattata al tramonto dalla cima del monte Boglia ,uno dei miei punti panoramici preferiti ; focale 122mm.
