Il catino dell'abside è decorato da un grande mosaico del Redentore tra la Madonna e san Miniato, del 1297, con lo stesso motivo di quello della facciata e probabilmente dello stesso anonimo artista. Il crocifisso che domina l'altare maggiore è attribuito a Luca della Robbia.
