Il Cacyreus marshalli o licenide dei geranei è un gran divoratore delle nostre amate piante da terrazzo.
Questa foto è stata scattata prima dell'arrivo del gelo ed esattamente il 14 gennaio. Quando lo abbiamo visto l'inverno sembrava non arrivare mai. Infatti le larve si stavano divorando il gambo dei geranei.
Ora se vuole restare da noi deve mettere il cappotto ;) oppure tornarsene in Africa (suo paese d'origine).
The Cacyreus marshalli or licenide geranium is a big consumer of our beloved plants terrace.
This picture was taken just before the arrival of frost and January 14. When we saw the winter seemed to never come. In fact, the larvae were eating the stem of the geranium.

Wow che soggetto!!io ne vedo tanti ma non ho mai la voglia di mettermici
purtroppo l'altro giorno anche io ne ho trovati tanti di bruchi,ma sembravano morti causa del troppo freddo,e pensare che la scorsa settimana erano in piena attività.
Scatto molto bello ed elegante,con buona gestione della luce

Pestifera per gl'allevatori di gerani, ma anche per il sottoscritto, sempre molto vivace ed attiva, non facile da fotografare. Invece quanto presentato direi che è il buon risultato del vostro lavoro.
Pestiferous for gl'allevatori of geraniums, but also for myself, always very lively and active, not easy to photograph.
