beautiful compo and the light in the background, sharpness does not satisfy me very much, perhaps moved during shooting or the muted colors of the skin near the head give this impression, or I see it wrong?

Too close to the head I notice a slight loss of sharpness, micro could be moved. But the image is still delicious Cleaning, light, compo and colors. Congratulations Feancesco, always very good. ;-)

The Macroglossum stellatarum is always a nice to see ...
I known a loss of sharpness on the head, maybe I would if I could shield a little light coming from the right.

Bellissima! just a curiosity, the background (great) how did you get?

In this shot I ventured too :-)
The background was composed of dry meadows and sunny, then I bounced the light on the caterpillar, but filtered. But I have lost MAF on the head of the caterpillar, looking good on RAW you notice the loss. As absurd as great in the shot is much less known. Thanks again to everyone for the comments.
