Complimenti! Ho tentato a lungo di fotografarne uno in questa maniera, ma non ci sono mai riuscito.
Ricordo che restavo col tele (come il tuo) puntato sul soggetto aspettando che sbadigliasse in questo modo; poi, per il peso, abbassavo la macchina per riprendere fiato e, in quel preciso momento, la maledetta bestia mi spalancava le fauci ....:-P:-P:-P

L'ho notato perchè sono una noiosa (per non usare qui altri termini più... ;-) che mi meriterei) ma anche perchè la foto è molto, "molto" bella.
E sono d'accordissimo con Vitomaso e non solo con gli ippopotami ma con tanti altri animali, quando prendi fiato dal peso dell'obiettivo, fanno qualcosa di fantastico... quindi complimenti anche per averla avuta vinta tu!!
