So 'dimpatto see a series of stripes on the head, correct me if I'm wrong? I would in any case left more 'air around the subject as a whole seems well taken and crisp, the background a little shoot'!
How far was the subject?

I think a little noisy part of the head, and the maf seems almost on the middle of the back ...

Thank you all for your comments, in fact rechecking the raw rows in the little head that references Daniba are much more evident, certainly do not know what defect is but will check more thoroughly.

For me, this photo was beautiful but I see the mess made pp ... sharpening and noise reduction inaccurate, and then there are some strange lines green / red on the head, is to be reviewed! ;-)

the photo is devastating. narrow, very detailed composition ok ... but in fact I do not know what to advise you because there is something wrong ... but I can not identify exactly what! :-D :-|

seems to have been applied in some post effect "mix" of Photoshop, I mean one of those filters that modify multiple parameters simultaneously. leave as zero from RAW and see what comes out of the picture ;-) however it is very very nice :-)

I do not know, the lines on the feathers do not seem natural, the subject is well taken, though I left some space.

have to add that, having been made with the 180 macro, it is possible that those stripes which are seen are more "super-fine" that was lost with resizing and compression ... because the overall sharpness is truly spectacular and unusual for this kind of shots. Hi can you tell us how far away were you from the subject?

The distance to the subject was about mt.1, 5, I do not know if I'm wrong, but I think the problem is having the stripes too underexposed and details of the blacks was lost, I open with camera raw blacks and can be seen even over the stripes. I only use photoshop for pp and noise reduction topaz.
Thank you for your contributions. ;-)

Photo very special
Great detail
The problem in my head and in my opinion due to underexposure, I think it is solved by reviewing the PP with a mask and selectively leaving the area a little darker

those on the head are the typical outline data from the recovery, when recoveries to 100% creates halos round about the subject
