I pilastri a colonnina sono sormontati da interessanti capitelli in pietra verde, rappresentanti teste di mostri, animali, volti femminili, volti maschili bifronti che recano ancora evidenti tracce dell'antica coloritura e ornamenti vegetali anche qui di foglie di quercia e ghiande. Il portico è coperto da volte a crociera decorate con affreschi cinquecenteschi, che rappresentano la traslazione del corpo di Sant'Antonio Abate da Costantinopoli alla Francia e una guarigione miracolosa da lui operata. Nella lunetta del portale centrale si trova un affresco risalente alla fine del XV secolo, che raffigura una Madonna con Bambino tra San Giovanni Evangelista e un altro Santo.
