con Nikon TC-20E II, 1/320 f/8.0, ISO 1000, tripod.

Stavo inquadrando la femmina quanto inaspettatamente le è volato sopra il maschio per fare il suo dovere di amante e ho sempre il vizio di tenere gli iso bassi con relativi tempi lenti. Non me la sentivo di perdere tempo a cambiare i parametri di ripresa ed ho sparato la raffica. Mi ritengo abbastanza contento del risultato anche se in quella posizione e a quella vicinanza la PDC è veramente poca ed anche chiudendo il diaframma avrei guadagnato poco. Ogni insuccesso di queste riprese è una vera spina nel fianco al fotografo perchè chissà quando ricapiterà una fortuna del genere!!

There are solutions for a shot so close .. it verges on the macro .. maybe I was more distant and I cropped something more in PDC but then there would have been diminished the quality of the shot. If anything, I would have to raise the ISO to use a faster time to freeze most of the action and maybe close the aperture more. Sometimes certain decisions you do not have time to take them.
