Sull'altare maggiore spicca l'arredo più significativo: un polittico a valve eseguito da Oddone Pascale fra il 1531 ed il 1535, in legno dipinto e dorato.il polittico fu commissionato dall'abate di Staffarda, Ludovico di Saluzzo. interessane ed originale è la parte centrale che presenta un intero ciclo di piccole statue sacre finemente intagliate nel legno, rappresentanti scene del Nuovo Testamento. i battenti dipinti su entrambe le facce rappresentano l'incoronazione della Vergine, la Resurrezione, l'Ascensione, la Pentecoste (a valve aperte), San Bernardo, San Benedetto e l'Annunciazione a Maria (a valve chiuse)
