Antonino

The detail of the plumage is incredible. Also good composition. Maybe some burning white of the snow but I can not confirm as I write from a computer with a monitor not exceptional. I tried to close a stop to retrieve PDC on the beak. It is still a very good picture.

Thanks to all for the ride.
@ Tony, thanks for the comment. an f / 9 I think I could risk it, the white snow, the compensation +1 / 3 is the one that gave the best results, but if the lights flicked bit ago.

Ciao

Nice shot, great detail, the snow is charred but you can get something and then the important thing is the subject ;-)

Ciaooo

Foto scattata con esp. -2 e recuperata in post.

The robin is recovered very well, but I wonder why you opted for a sovraesposizione. In of snow should always underexpose, so you do not risk burning the snow, increase the shutter speed and you just have to post in a bit lighter on the subject if you came sottoesposto.Ciaooo

Photo taken with esp. -2 And recovered in post.

also for me the subject is very well taken, but the snow so overexposed in the foreground and not a little disturbing, if possibibe would try to recover it IMHO.

even if cloudy, in certain situations of diffused light dazzles the snow.
after various tests also underexposed, I felt more natural rendering overexposed.
all that white light of the sky and have led to the robin underexposed and the snow turn gray. This explains overexposure.
