Caro Luigi, mentre cercavo un titolo per la foto, che banalmente potevo chiamare "campo di girasoli" ho sentito forte una sensazione che mi ha suggerito l'analogia fra questi fiori appassiti, a soldati giovani e forti che sconfitti e feriti si ritirano lentamente in fila. I girasoli sono fiori con lunghi steli, che stanno sempre a testa alta a guardare il sole, ma che la chinano e diventano quasi commoventi mentre sfioriscono...il mio forse un eccesso di romanticismo,.. ma così è.

Dear Luigi, while looking for a title for the photo, that I could trivially called "field of sunflowers" I felt a strong feeling that I suggested the analogy between these withered flowers, a strong young soldiers who defeated and wounded retreat slowly row. The sunflowers are flowers with long stems, which are always head-up look at the sun, but that bend and become almost touching while wither ... my perhaps too much romance, .. but it is. ;-)

Hai una qualità che io ti invidio un pò, caro Gabriele, perchè sai dare delle interpretazioni alle immagini, (anche non tue) belle, romantiche, ma sopratutto appropiate, in questo devo imparare ancora molto.

Tempo fa, ma non ricordo in quale circostanza e cito a memoria, qualcuno ha definito la fotografia, un in modo molto tecnico e cioè una semplice presa di un frammento di realtà con tempo e diaframma adeguato. Quel signore non potrà mai dare un bel titolo ad un'immagine, perché non la sente nemmeno un pochino col cuore, non credo neanche che di fronte all'opportunità di fare una bella foto abbia sentito mai emozione al momento dello scatto. Cosa che fortunatamente io ancora provo dopo tanti anni, inoltre poi se aggiungi un po di fantasia e, di quella ne ho abbastanza, il titolo esce. Con le mie foto è più facile, ma anche quando osservo quelle degli altri, cerco di capirne il motivo ispiratore, assorbirne la bellezza e descrivere le sensazioni che mi trasmettono, ricercando ovviamente le parole più appropriate con un tocco, a volte perché no, un po ruffiano di romanticismo.

Time ago, but I do not remember in what circumstances and I quote from memory, some have called the photograph, in a very technical and that is merely taking a fragment of reality with appropriate shutter speed and aperture. That gentleman will never give a good title to an image, because I do not feel even a little bit with my heart, I do not think that even in the face opportunity to make a nice picture've never heard emotion at the time of shooting. Which luckily I still feel after so many years, then they also add a bit of fantasy, and I've had enough of that, the title comes out. With my photos is easier, but when I look at those of others, I try to understand why inspiring, absorbing the beauty and describe the feelings that I shall, of course, looking for the most appropriate words with a twist, sometimes, why not, little pimpof romance. :-P ;-)

L'hai ottimamente espresso in questo scatto spiegando poi anche la scelta del titolo che, alla luce di tutto ciò, appare molto più che appropriato.

Come avverto presente anche in te, la fantasia mi porta a volte lontano. Sperando di non fare supposizioni stupide, mi piace criticare le mie foto uscendo dal seminato e cercare spesso più l'impressione di ciò che trasmettono che la realtà stessa dell'immagine.

I feel like this in you, imagination takes me away sometimes. Hoping not to make assumptions stupid, I like to criticize my photos coming out of the sow, and often look for more of what they convey the impression that the very reality of the image.
