the idea is very good and for exposure and color I like, but a person so still 1 / 1600sec does not make sense, especially for sacrificing a depth of field that I think it was a must that included until the last stone of the ground.
but if it was blurred wanted to emphasize to: Topic on the context, I think you could lower the ISO, shoot at 105mm in TA and move down slightly to move further background on the subject.

Grazie :)

the idea was to stand out from the red blurred, but was somewhere in between. Thanks :)

I agree with Daniel ... the idea is good, you need to learn ... in this as in other your shots ... is a personal vision of what you want to take ... do not be discouraged because one of the first steps lovers of photography is to capture the subject ... and that you do it right ... good technique .... now you have to try your language ... you have to use light, composition, cutting, opening or closing diaphragm to tell a story ... you've heard before shooting here ... what was it ... loneliness' beauty in the rocks ?, life in the desert? ... this is the most interesting work .. .. :-P
