(Sabato 12 luglio 2014 - dalle ore 10:00) Tra fine maggio e i primi giorni di luglio, l'altopiano di Castelluccio di Norcia è testimone di un evento di particolare importanza: la Fioritura. Per diverse settimane, la monotonia cromatica del pascolo viene spezzata da un mosaico di colori, con variazioni di toni che vanno dal giallo ocra al rosso. Anche se la festa della "Fiorita" ricade nella terza e nell'ultima domenica di Giugno, non esiste un preciso giorno per ammirare questo incantevole spettacolo. Ogni anno tutto è affidato all'andamento climatico della stagione. Le specie floreali che tingono il Pian Grande e il Pian Perduto in questo periodo, sono innumerevoli, camminando lungo i sentieri possiamo incontrare: genzianelle, narcisi, violette, papaveri, ranuncoli, asfodeli, viola Eugeniae, trifogli, acetoselle e tant'altro. Tantissimi ogni anno i visitatori, in particolar modo i fotografi che giungono da tutta Italia...... per evitarli: prediligete l'infrasettimanale !!! Per chi ama il brivido e vuole ammirare uno spettacolo esclusivo: parapendio !!!
