I've found a couple of these slender robberflies at the end of May 2013. They proved to be a little bit challenging to photograph because of the ever moving tails. I've shot close to 500 exposures and I was able to use only around 70-80 of them for 2 stacks. But I think the challenge was worth it, they are not easily found around here. :)

Stack info: Canon 5D Mark II, Canon MP-E 65 lens
24 natural light exposures, f4.5, ISO 200
Magnification: 1.4X

Photographed on 30.05.2013

hi, took some shots of that species on the last weekend, challenging, especially for one shot ;) on your one i would increase the magnification a bit but its still very good.

It was quite challenging, this was the only lower magnification stack that succeeded.

I have a high magnification stack too, that one was easier to make because there weren't any moving parts involved. ;) :)

i checked mine a minute ago, it was moving the tail and im afraid i dont have perfectly sharp picture of the whole subject, just milimeters of the tail are not sharp but i dont care ;)
