quando penso alle immagini create da Franco Nerone penso al reportage puro puro; quello fatto in mezzo alla gente quando si scattava solo con il 35 (o 50 mm), quando le foto erano belle perchè i fatti o personaggi erano li, quasi tangibili. Ovviamente Nerone non usa il 35 mm ma tra un po potrebbe anche usarlo: è talmente vicino-dentro la scena che a tratti è anche...disarmante.
Mi ricordo di chi agli inizi mi rammentava sempre: "meglio un passo avanti". Ecco lui è un passo avanti, sempre!!!

when I think of the images created by Franco Nero, I think of the pure pure reportage; fact that among people when it was taking only 35 (or 50 mm), when the photos were fine because the facts or characters were there, almost tangible. Obviously Nero does not use the 35 mm but could also use it in a bit: it is so close-within the scene that at times it is also ... disarming.
I remember at the beginning who always reminded me: "better a step forward." Here he is one step ahead, always!
