The impala, a kind in my opinion a bit overstated, perhaps because it is very common and easy to photograph.
Sacrificial victim especially cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and wild dogs; too small for the lions, he has a keen sight, always vigilant and at the first sign of danger runs fast and is capable of pulling off jumps up to 10 meters. in length and 3 meters. in height.
He lives in two types of herds, herd-boys, young and never dominant herd of females with cubs protected by a dominant male that you see in the picture and myself titled "cuckolded."
A bit far from the pack in this case but always vigilant and attentive and ready to fight for his harem.

Bravo Paolo,

alberto

Paul Bravo,
it is true that subjects are frequent, but it is not easy to find males in a pose so beautiful and so "royal".
Belli also resume them during the duels in the period we couplings or to defend the herd.

for the rest quoto Marco :-)

a greeting
alberto

From the thumbnail I never said it was an impala, I was thinking more like a gazelle grant.
remarkable specimen. the dominant male does not stay that long, but when you see the size of his harem, you understand why it spoils quickly.
