ho girovagato 4 pagine per arrivare a questa foto.
A mio avviso, la prima vera foto che si può definire still life...
solo che la composizione ne soffre, troppo centrale, e l'oggetto anche, non capisco quanto è profondo e/o piatto.

Di solito lo still life va a pubblicizzare un oggetto, cercando di mostrarne la composizione, il materiale etc, ed a seconda di questi elementi, si sceglie un inquadratura che ne mostri generosamente la strutta (per capirci, se è un vaso o un posacenere non lo capisco, magari se inqudravi da sopra, rendendo visibile tutto, capivo che magari era una ciotolina e non un posacenere ne un vasetto)...

In più la creatività di uno still life sta proprio nello scegliere l'illuminazione che ne esalti le caratteristiche....
qui si potrebbe giocare sulle linee del vetro e creare effetti di luce che, appunto, ne seguano ilprofilo, e non lo riempano...

cmq, è un campo assai difficile.... ma lo scatto mi piace...
