Atteggiamento che non avevo mai visto in un Martino. se n'è stato quasi un'ora fermo sullo stesso ramo focalizzando la sua attenzione sui rami sopra di lui, piuttosto che sull'acqua alla ricerca di pesci. Dopo poco mi sono accorto di un uccello molto più grande proprio sulla cima dell'albero, ho pensato fosse un Falco ma l'ho visto solo volare via e di sfuggita, quindi non ne sono affatto sicuro. Ha fatto più volte questa mossa, come se stesse spiccando il volo, ma poi è rimasto sul ramo, immagino sia una mossa di difesa. Peccato per le foglie bruciate, ma il Martino era in ombra e in mezzo agli alberi.
