Ciao :)

That giant ... when you see it hovering in the paths is very eye-catching!
Great portrait and perfect white balance.

Hello :)

Great shot of a butterfly truly beautiful.
You always have a lot of the first-ever non-common monsters. ;-)

BRAVO come sempre!

If you join an excellent technique to non-usual ottienui shots that can only amaze.
I think this will be the proof.

BRAVO as always!

Personalmente li ho sempre visti e fotografati posati a terra o meglio ancora su tronchi d'albero..

Your pictures are always clear and it also does not suspect is sleeping.
The subject is one of those difficult parts to photograph but I would say that it is not a habit of this species roosts choose exile.
Personally, I have always seen and photographed flat on the floor or better yet on tree trunks ..

I can only agree with you, usually rest on rocks, soil and tree trunks and branches.

Ciro

congratulations to capture, manage, whites of this butterfly is complicated, as many times as I've ever been to photograph and freehand and with high sun, add that as a perch in one of these rare meetings preferred the head of my son flying ..... is returned to rest on his head :-)

Ben handled everything, even I have not ever seen on these perches, I always see on tree trunks where it blends very well .. ;-)

bellissima e molto nitida. favolosa.

Grazie a tutti :-)
Grazio :-)

Thank you all :-)
There really is too much snow, about 50cm, tomorrow I make pictures :-) Today I went, but the fog was so thick that I could not see an inch.
I gave a scaldatina test, the whole is more enjoyable, here I had well balanced whites, and I did not think absolutely this factor. Horace :-)

Thanks for all the comments left. I'm really happy. Forgive me for the lack of the name, as for other shots, but the database must have had problems, and was lost. I'll see when I can get it back.
