Dimenticavo di dire che sulla distanza detta ho portato il sensore sul formato a.p.s.c. Il dettaglio, con soli 5.1 mpx residui come ripeto, è ancora ampiamente sufficiente, al punto che ritengo superfluo l'acquisto di un tc 1.4x (con curiosità proverò comunque il Nikon III di prossima uscita). Come dato generale, se si vuole il tipo di riempimento del fotogramma di questa immagine, con il picchio rosso maggiore vale quanto segue:
- a tre metri focale di 400 mm.
- a cinque metri focale di 600 mm.
