Senza dubbio è un gran bell'obiettivo, però è da valutare bene l'acquisto se si è alle prime armi. Se sei alla ricerca solo di un macro senza troppe pretese ce ne sono di più economici.
Ti consiglio invece di provare "tecniche alternative" (molto più economiche) come ruotare l'obiettivo, o usare i tubidi prolunga in obiettivi che hai già  ho avuto belle soddisfazioni facendo questo.
La foto in questione l'ho fatta con un set di 3 tubi d'estensione, per arrivare ad un rapporto d'ingrandimento maggiore di 1:1, ho comunque dovuto tagliare per raggiungere la foto finale.

Assolutamente necessari i tubi di prolunga. Io in genere uno sempre un flash esterno con un mini diffusore e trigger. Cambio spesso la posizione, quindi non c'è una regola fissa..
