Il Dik Dik è una piccola antilope molto timida e spesso sfuggente, difficile riprenderla in momenti di vita, basta poco, anche il solo parlare per farla scappare. E' per questo che spesso viene snobbata dai safaristi. Eppure basta aspettare, spegnere il motore, fare silenzio e non muoversi. Ecco che allora piano piano diventa confidente, si avvicina e si comporta come se nulla fosse regalando scatti davvero interessanti. E' questa la differenza fondamentale fra il safari mordi e fuggi e quello fatto con chi conosce gli animali e il loro comportamento.
L'effetto MDC sul pelo è appunto solo un effetto, luccica di suo.
