Benebene, I see that we got to scan bigger fish! Seriously, I cut the tail and legs do not bother because the pdc emphasizing the head and torso is more than enough to make a beautiful picture. Then with this background and this sharpness ... I challenge anyone to find imperfect! Congratulations :-)

Sarah, I accept the challenge, in the sense that the image is great but I would have cropped not to cut the legs and tail so badly ......
In my view, would come a great portrait. ;-)

Sacrilege!! never to crop! what need is there to crop if I can bring further with the camera and the robin continues to travel on the perch? Would make sense once when the film cost but now even ten thousand shots cost! :-) :-) :-) :-) Or would make sense to crop an image unique ...... the cropped you say is already on my hard drive but made directly with the viewfinder ...... Thanks to all the kind comments!

Je ne jamais crop! always true to your motto eh!
I respect your consistency, even though I think crop to improve the composition is not 'a crime.
Just declare honestly.

As usual, the detail is great, though, even if I understand the consistency of your choice, a croppatina would make it even better.

Hello and congratulations. :-)

I understand and respect the people of croppatori your ideas as you respect my .. Costabile: there is a reason why I cut the tail and legs and can be found on the title of the shot. I did not have a zoom but a view fixed and everything was prepared to accept within the frame of a bird three times smaller than this then Robin would never have entered the frame around the breasts because I was also on a fixed stand with then unable to back! !. I chose to put more stuff as possible in the frame. Anyway back to croppaggio I repeat that I have shots of Robin's passport and will post them soon ... Thanks again to everyone for the welcome comments as constructive and interesting ... even for beginners which I hope can draw something more to their knowledge ...
