In questa chiesa del XIV secolo c'è uno straordinario dipinto di Cima da Conegliano "L'Adorazione dei pastori". Accanto c'è la Scuola Grande dei Carmini.La scuola grande di Santa Maria dei Carmini è l'ultima delle otto scuole grandi di Venezia. Venne fondata nel 1594 dal bergamasco Bernardino Soardi che riprese l'antica devozione allo Scapolare del Carmine. Bellissimi gli affreschi del Tiepolo sul soffitto del salone superiore.
