I like it very much!
Technically, I only see a closed bow a little as if it were a little relaxed, I read the technique used and I think it gives you a distortion effect.
I prefer the usual 6 vertical shots with a single expo and then joined together.
The sky is a little magenta and green.
However, bravo!

I used to have a 13 without overlap (or about) errors, which often happens, but you do not notice. However, considering that I made it to the two thirds of the night, it was already quite high relative to the bow :) In short spring season of course.
For Wb I always struggle to find a combination that will fit me, more than anything else to the green that I do not know how to remove (use treshold +50% difference in gray and I set before them with curves, and then with the balance color to balance the sampled values). However, I see only the magenta between the mountain and the valley to the left with the one immediately to the right; and I think it's due to light pollution.
Correct me if I say nonsense. :)
And most of all thanks for advice :)

Very impressive! I have a curiosity to ask: I have noticed that in this kind of photo is almost always used the Samyang. Is there any particular reason?

Hello!

Thanks for the lift lorenzo, however, the Samyang is very popular because it has an excellent quality / price ratio. Considers that it is a fixed lens very bright (2.8) completely manual, whose focus is perfect for this kind of photos because it allows shooting in 30 seconds without an appreciable movement of the stars (even on aps-c). This allows you to get very good shots in 3200/6400 ISO, typical sensitivity values ??used in this kind of night landscape.
Clear that full frame on the number of shots required is much lower because it uses all 14 mm, while on aps-c you have to consider the crop factor that reduces the field of view to 22/23 mm (canon).
However, the main advantage of this lens is that, not having auto-focus, remains on a budget end ofprice (about 300 €) with good optical characteristics and excellent construction (little plastic, very metal and glass).
Consider that for this kind of photography the autofocus is useless, because at night you can entrust only to test shots and all'iperfocale when you have to photograph the stars.
Obviously the results are limited only by the ability to use a personal focus of the manual, I'll tell you that being a wide angle lens is very easy to do :)

congratulations for the great work for the realization night never easy

aside from the purely technical side of which has already been discussed and I do not have the skills to add another, visually I find the mountains overexposed when compared with the brightness of the Milky Way. some to the mountains so it is readable in all its details and the snow amplifies the luminostà and I think it's your choice

hello gianmarco

Thank you all for the move and for the comments!
@ Gianmarco: maybe I should darken it a bit, but I did not mind the end result. Consider that it took me a month to post it and believe me the indecision of choices at times like this you really feel! :)
However, the thing that makes me most happy is that it has achieved a good result, especially in terms of noise and detail of the sky.
Hello! :)

@ Copernico: with a little patience and good will you can get many things. Without even having thousands of Euros equipment something you get the same ;)

Well done, you have said it all. I agree with Gianmarco regarding the slight overexposure of the mountains, for the rest, exemplary work.

Very nice! Also I notice some color gradient from green to magenta, but you managed to pull out a nice milky way with the 40d (which I also own) that is not the best as holding iso! For this I congratulate doubly! :-)
Greetings
David

Really beautiful! much PP?

avatarjunior

thank you all!
@ Stefano: Well in this kind of photography the PP is very present. Apart from the union of shots in the manual if there is blending of the two exhibitions that you could not do otherwise than with PS. And then oh the usual adjustments of any landscape, especially for the contrasts ..
