Avostanis view sent on June 04, 2014 (9:19) by Mooploop. 9 comments, 2125 views.

, 5 sec f/11.0, ISO 100, tripod.

After spending the night in Val Montanaia, my friend Luca and I went to Lake Avostanis for some photos of the night sky. Arrived to the hut, we found a lot of snow that still covers the lake and the entry thereof. Entered, there was the fireplace; even though it was early afternoon, we quickly moved to set the fire. The wood was very wet, but fortunately a cube of firelighter has simplified things. After resting a while in his bed I went out to take pictures at sunset succeeding in this shot.

beautiful, I love the landscape composition and wonderful situation that you have found

two small notes (IMHO) would remove a pile of saturation on the illuminated side of the mountains and would cut down on the photo to start doing the rock on the right

beautiful. I agree with Gianmarco saturation. Maybe even on the cut, seen from where, but this photo with ciuffoni of dry straw even more 'in the foreground for me would have been much more' beautiful, then I would have made even more 'wide in the second half, perhaps with a 14mm was possible. Hello, Mark.

Beautiful landscape, I also agree with Gianmarco regarding the cut ...
On the other hand, saturation, I have nothing to say, I also like that ... nice work ...

Spectacular!
The colors of the landscape with the last snow are magnificent, are a sign of transition from one season to another ... The grass wet from the snow dries in the sun, sprout soldanelle, a symbol of rebirth, and the mountains heat the cold rock the last warm rays of the sun ... A really spectacular sunset, the beautiful colors of the mountains, grass and soldanelle in the foreground, enclosed in a, in my opinion, excellent composition. I also like the choice of long time.
Congratulations!
Lorenzo
