Regarding the contrast was a choice due to bring out the elements of the image and also because trying the different options with low contrast were not working.
With reference to the noise I agree, I too would have preferred a photo more "clean", unfortunately I had, with the unsharp mask, bring out the elements of the image that blurred the outset (as the face of the bride) to due to the movement of the subject.
