Basterebbe con valori tonali agendo sul cursore dei bianchi dare luminosità all'immagine visto che il soggetto è ritratto molto bene.
A livello compositivo esprimo solo il mio parere.
Per quanto il posatoio rubasse per le sue dimensioni la scena al lepidottero, avrei ugualmente fatto un passo indietro a discapito del rr, ma avendo forse una più completa composizione.
L'altra possibilità era di guadagnare maggior rr sulla farfalla tagliando un pezzo maggiore del posatoio.
Come vedi due espressioni differenti che solo il gusto personale può aiutare a scegliere.
Naturalmente quanto scritto è come scritto sopra detto un mio semplice pensiero che non vuole sottrarre nulla alla bellezza di questo soggetto.

Quanto evidenzi mette in evidenza un mio gusto personale nella postproduzione, dove molto spesso diminuisco i bianchi e le luci....È un ottimo consiglio per migliorare e fare più attenzione nel lavoro con photoshop
