I'll tell you, I really thought a lot worse! For what I can say is his honestfigure, particularly in light of the fact that it costs nothing (just over € 100), and still allows you to push the lens from 16mm (note: I only use this converter coupled optics 16mm!) up to 12mm (which 18 is an equivalent, then already quite wide, not spintissimo ok, but not trivial ...).

Surely this view, as Sony works molto well on optics, will be significantly higher yield as that of my 16mm + converter, no doubt ... but I read that it will cost no less than € 800 as list ... behold, I, having now already for this good " fall back "as I call it, I'll throw in some of this purchase immediately, but leave before on other lenses to complete my outfit. Then, with time, being especially fond of landscape, it is certain that I'll buy a real wide-angle lens.
Ultimately, it depends on you, on your needs and your ability. I can only tell you that this converter still amazed me, because you do things even beautiful, certainly very dignified, his figure does it anyway and good for me!

La mia "strada" con la Sony NEX (che per me è una macchina fotografica veramente valida) è stata questa...
L'ho comprata in kit con il 16mm fisso f2.8 (che è un 24 equivalente); subito dopo ho acquistato a parte lo zoom standard 18-55mm; piacendomi molto fare i grandangoli, e non avendo Sony ancora messo in cantiere nessuna ottica in tal senso, l'unica possibilità che avevo era quella di buttarmi nel comperare questo strano convertitore che Sony aveva appena lanciato. Di commenti/recensioni su internet non se ne trovavano, ma stavo per partire per un viaggio (Namibia) credo unico e quindi non potevo permettermi di portare con me solo lo zoom standard...così mi sono "buttato" e ho acquistato praticamente alla cieca questo convertitore.
Ti dirò, pensavo veramente molto peggio! Per quello che ti posso dire io fa la sua onesta figura, soprattutto in virtù del fatto che costa niente (poco più di 100€) e comunque ti permette di spingere l'ottica da 16mm (attenzione: questo convertitore lo usi solo accoppiato all'ottica 16mm!!!) fino a 12mm (che è un 18 equivalente, quindi già un bel grandangolo, non spintissimo ok, ma nemmeno banale...).
Poi è ovvio, bisogna anche sapersi accontentare, nel senso che ai lati la noti un po' di deformazione dell'immagine e la nitidezza in se dell'immagine magari non è mai perfetta al 100%, ma secondo me queste annotazioni sono per lo più per veri intenditori...e io francamente non lo sono ancora...
Ora, ho visto che Sony uscirà a brevissimo (...e finalmente!!!) con un'ottica grandangolare zoom per le NEX, un 10-18mm f4...era ora!!! Sicuramente quest'ottica, siccome Sony lavora molto bene sulle ottiche, sarà nettamente superiore come resa a quella del mio 16mm+convertitore, non ne dubito...però ho letto che costerà non meno di 800€ come listino...ecco che io, avendo per ora già questo buon "ripiego" come lo chiamo io, non mi butterò di certo su questo acquisto subito, ma andrò prima su altre ottiche per completare il mio corredo. Poi, col tempo, essendo appassionato soprattutto di paesaggistica, è certo che mi comprerò una vera e propria ottica grandangolare.
In definitiva, dipende da te, dalle tue esigenze e dalle tue possibilità. Io ti posso solo dire che questo convertitore mi ha comunque stupito, perchè ci si fanno delle cose anche belle, sicuramente molto dignitose, la sua figura la fa comunque e bene, secondo me!

Per me ha "vinto" su tutte le comodità nei movimenti e negli spostamenti, perchè con una mirrorless ti puoi permettere di viaggiare molto agile e comunque con un corredo che è grande un terzo di un corredo di una reflex! Su questo, le chiacchiere stanno a zero... Poi, ognuno la pensa come vuole, sono ancora molti i detrattori di queste macchine, ma per me i risultati finali tra una reflex e una mirrorless di qualità sono lì lì...non ci vedo niente di differenze mostruose a livello di risultato fotografico!
L'unico punto grande a sfavore di questo sistema secondo me è quello relativo alle foto col flash... Ma il mondo "foto col flash" è ancora un altro mondo a parte, ci vuole manico, bisogna saperne, bisogna avere mezzi adeguati e poi bisogna che ti piaccia fotografare in certe situazioni particolari. Ecco, siccome a me fotografare col flash non piace molto, sono a posto...
Io con la mia NEX5 mi trovo molto, ma molto bene; la sfrutto tantissimo...ora con il 50 fisso luminoso mi sto divertendo parecchio per esempio! E' una gran bell'ottica...
Anche io da pochissimo ho preso un cavalletto...ecco, sì in effetti fa un po' strano montare una mirrorless su un cavalletto, ma tant'è...poco male, l'importante è il risultato finale!
