Direi che è perfetto.
io per queste foto ho impostato la macchina su modalità AV, fissa su f 8.0; ISO 200; scatto continuo. La velocità dell'otturatore veniva impostata dalla macchina scatto per scatto (guadato gli exif dei miei sono stati tutti tra 1/800 e 1/1600)
Col senno di poi avrei potuto provare sempre su modalità AV, ma su f 7,1; ISO 100. Questo perché su sfondo uniforme in PP ho visto un pò di rumore sul quale ho dovuto lavorare. 
Ti auguro una buona cattura e spero di vedere presto i tuoi scatti.

I for these photos I set the camera on AV mode, fixed at f 8.0; ISO 200; continuous shooting. The shutter speed was set by the machine shot to shot (forded the exif of my were all between 1/800 and 1/1600)
In hindsight I could always run it on AV mode, but at f 7.1; ISO 100. Because of this uniform background in PP I saw a bit of noise on which I had to work. :-(

Beh con un 300 mm e FF penso usciranno delle belle immagini, mi permetto solo un consiglio fai in modo da restare sotto 1/500 per i tempi di scatto e lavora con punti centrali così da favorire l'af della macchina
