at 44mm, 1/125 f/13.0, ISO 100, hand held. Rovigo, Italy.

#Chiese #Biancoenero Focale 44 mm. Piazza XX Settembre con la chiesa della Rotonda ed il campanile progettato da Baldassare Longhena, lo stesso architetto della Chiesa della Salute a Venezia, dopo la riqualficazione ultimata due anni fa. La piazza è diventata completamente pedonale e ciclabile, togliendo tutti i parcheggi ed il traffico automobilistico, pavimentata con del porfido e pietra bianca ricavandone così un disegno a scacchiera. Nella parte centrale è stato inserito un bel prato delimitato da due muretti laterali, sotto il prato, a 40 cm. di profondità è stato realizzato un invaso per la raccolta delle acque piovane che vengono utilizzate per l'irrigazione del verde stesso e dei pini marittimi, mentre davanti alla chiesa si è ricavato un nuovo sagrato. Alla testata della piazza è stata collocata una fontanella che impreziosisce il sito. Quando c'è la buona volontà si riescono a fare delle cose veramente gradevoli. Secondo me l'unico difetto è, se così vogliamo chiamarlo, la visuale della chiesa un po' ostruita dai filari dei pini; ce ne fossero sempre e comunque di queste imperfezioni.
