Effettivamente questa foto è stata un po' una sfida per me: l'originale non era molto buono e ho dovuto faticare non poco per ottenere una foto tecnicamente valida. Sono quindi felicissimo che il risultato sia di tuo gradimento, Ale, e sinceramente anche io mi posso ritenere soddisfatto, anche perchè mi dispiaceva dover rinunciare al dolcissimo sorriso di questa bambina.

Actually this photo was a bit 'a challenge for me: the original was not very good and I had to struggle hard to get a photo technically valid. I am therefore delighted that the result is to your liking, Ale, and frankly even I can feel satisfied, partly because I regretted having to give up the sweet smile of this child.

Mi fa veramente molto piacere che tu abbia apprezzato questa foto, ed in particolare che tu abbia apprezzato il mio modo di trattare questo ritratto.
In effetti si trattava di una foto che mi piaceva molto ma che presentava un difetto di sfocatura sull'occhio in secondo piano; ho quindi deciso di adottare una pp che attirasse l'attenzione di chi osserva sull'occhio in primo piano e sul dolcissimo sorriso di questa bimba, lasciando al contempo in ombra l'altro occhio. Da quanto mi scrivi direi che il mio piccolo "trucco" è riuscito, almeno per te, quindi grazie per avermelo testimoniato.

I'm really glad you liked this photo, and in particular that you have enjoyed my way of dealing with this portrait.
In fact it was a photo that I really liked but which had a defect of the eye blur in the background; I have therefore decided to adopt a pp that would attract the attention of the beholder eye in the foreground and the sweet smile of this child, while leaving the other eye in shadow. From what you write to me I would say that my little "trick" has succeeded, at least for you, so thank you for telling testified.
