Una foto che ha carattere: sarà il soggetto così ripreso, sarà il contrasto fra le ombre e la luce che si riflette sul metallo della ringhiera o sarà che magari ci sarò passato tante volte durante le mie visite a Venezia e non mi è mai venuto in mente di fotografare quel soggetto ... complimenti.

A photo that has character: will be taken as the subject, the contrast between the shadows and the light that is reflected on the metal railing or maybe there will be that I have passed many times during my visits to Venice and I never came taking photographs of that subject ... congratulations.

Ciao, Fermoimmagine, mille grazie per la visita ed il commento: ricordo che mentre gironzolavo alla ricerca di qualche inquadratura un po' originale, sono stato abbagliato da un riflesso di luce che proveniva dalla ringhiera; lo sfondo era di un bel rosso, che, però avrebbe distratto dalla ripetitiva geometria delle colonne e della ringhiera, da qui la scelta di un bianco e nero bello contrastato.

Hello, Fermoimmagine, many thanks for the visit and the comment: I remember that while I wandered in search of some framing a bit 'original, I was dazzled by the reflection of light from the railing; the background was a beautiful red, which, however, would have distracted from the repetitive geometry of the columns and railing, hence the choice of a beautiful black and white contrast.
