Il tentativo,non andato a buon fine,di costruire una nuova cattedrale a causa della peste,nel 1348. Da questa costruzione denominata dai Senesi l'Affaciatone,offre la sua terrazza uno spettacolo unico di Siena e in particolar modo una visione bellissima della torre del Mangia.

L'unico problema quel giorno era affollatissimo il luogo,c'era un ponte un sacco di visitatori,contingentavano le visite in pochi minuti ho scattato qua e là frettolosamente ma c'era da fare molto..ci tornerò..
