In questa serie di "bombi", questa e' quella che mi piace di piu' (ho cercato istintivamente il download alta definizione per osservare i dettagli degli occhi ma non l'hai postata, pazienza ).
L'ambientazione e' buona, l'insetto al centro della foto non mi convince (personalmente l'avrei almeno decentrato un po' con un paio di prove in sequenza. In sostanza due ritagli, uno a sinistra nei pressi delle ali del bombo eliminando le foglie sfocate e magari riequilibrando il compo con un leggero ritaglio anche a destra per portare l'insetto sul terzo giusto, oppure al contrario, se si vuol tenere le foglie sfocate, avrei provato a ritagliare a destra poco dopo il fiorellino centrale della foglia dove e' posato, forse avrei valutato anche un'ultima variante, con ritagli mirati per proporla in formato "landscape".
Tutto questo secondo il mio personale "de gustibus") .
Comunque la foto col crop e' interessante, considerando che, col 50 mm e poche lamelle, il bokeh purtroppo ne risente (e' possibile ovviare sfocando lo sfondo via software ma non e' un giochetto e bisogna lavorarci dietro..., quanto dipende da quanto sai usare il software di fotoritocco ).
Col 100 macro di cui mi hai accennato, ovviamente, e' tutto un'altro discorso.

Greetings, Claudio 8-) Il mondo macro e' incredibile, ma come tutte le cose, il menu bisogna variarlo di tanto in tanto, e' giusta l'idea di provare vari ambiti fotografici. Prima di fiondarti su quell'obiettivo, hai mai provato a fare "close-up" (similmacro) con l'obiettivo zoom 18/55? (se l'hai ancora o hai un altro zoom, dovresti prima, secondo me, fare qualche foto di prova con quello) e vedere cosa esce, poi se non ti convince, puoi preparare la mano sulla tasca posteriore e procedere all'acquisto...). Usato in modalita' macro (modalita' Tele avvicinato al massimo), si possono fare cosette interessanti (indubbiamente non al livello delle macro e dei bokeh resi dal 100mm ma neanche malaccio devo dirti, anzi, a volte con risutati sorprendenti, prova a dare un'occhiata a questi close-up fatti col 18/135 IS STM che ho nella galleria "macro" e ti fai una idea.

Mi sembrava di aver notato alcune foto con il 18/55, ma se non l'hai piu', lascia perdere e torna a pensare all'altro obiettivo....
p.s. la 70D e' una ottima aps-c, macchina moderna tuttofare comprendente anche una funzionalita' killer (poco considerata nelle recensioni e commenti d'uso e non mi spiego per quale motivo), che e' la messa a fuoco col touch, davvero strepitosa se ne comprendi le possibilita' d'uso e la sua versatilita' di composizione.
