#Oriente ( Fiera dell'Oriente 2016 - Milano ) - Wagasa, l'ombrello tipico giapponese. Questo ombrello, apparve in Giappone nel 1550 circa e fu inizialmente considerato un'articolo di lusso. Formato da bambù e washi(un particolare tipo di carta giapponese, molto resistente), è diventato famoso per la sua eleganza e per la precisione del meccanismo di apertura e chiusura. Inizialmente usato per ripararsi dalla pioggia o dal sole, il Wagasa, divenne ben presto un'articolo di moda e durante il periodo Edo, divenne economicamente più accessibile.
