Place this more as an experiment than for its photo quality. I tried to duplicate the sigma to see if it worked.
The shooting conditions were little more than bad, the subjects were in the shade and there was not much contrast. I did not want to raise the ISO to avoid too much noise, shoot at 1/80 on the monopod is not ideal, but it worked stabilizer, as well as the focus (only leaving active all AF points)
I hope to do more experiments soon and with better light.
Comments and suggestions are much appreciated

Be 'impact so it would seem a good result ;), I guess you've clicked on the focal length greater! I would try the POMPONE multiplied!!

From roughly the same results of the Sigma (at least by the minimum experiences with friends), slightly fast, not very precise in FA, dark, but overall quite usable, the same applies to the 400L f5.6 (which, however, offers a quality starting more), I always speak with bodies Canon aps-c.
These were static subjects, chasing birds liveliest see it impossible (I tried ...), but I intend to do more tests. Nion do static tests on the quality, knowing that we are not to great levels of detail (and obviously), I'm only interested to see if, in practice, you can multiply or not ... for now I would say yes, with the conditional :-)
see you soon
