Confesso che nemmeno a me è piaciuto molto, mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso. Però ho provato a vederci la parte positiva, inserito nel contesto della "City" ci sta bene. 
I confess that even I liked it a lot, I was expecting something different. Amica/o - non mi fido degli avatar nei profili - mia/o, io sono un superarciappassionatissimo di strutture alte o altissime - e soffro maledettamente di vertigini! - e ti dico che quella sottospecie di cono malriuscito è probabilmente il più brutto skyscraper in circolazione. Forse più brutto di codesto ci sarebbe il "cetriolo" (30 St Mary Axe) sempre a London.
Insomma da quelle parti, in fatto di grattacieli, i sold... pardon le sterline le buttano!

Sul fatto che il "cetriolo" sia più brutto dello Shard non ho assolutamente nulla da dire, perchè sono d'accordo!
Le sterline le buttano perchè probabilmente possono farlo, altrimenti credo che ci penserebbero due volte prima di costruire grattacieli di questo genere.

A thing of beauty is a beautiful thing to ALWAYS (see the Chrysler Building and the Transamerica Pyramid, for example), a bad thing is a bad thing FOREVER (Cucumber and Shard of glass ... for example)!

Può piacere o non piacere il soggetto, ma la foto è ben fatta: forse si poteva tagliare la parte più a sinistra e dare maggior risalto al riflesso ma non ho idea se sarebbe stato possibile con gli spazi a disposizione.

It may or may not like the subject, but the photo is well done, maybe you could cut off the left-most and give greater prominence to reflection but I have no idea if it would be possible with the available spaces.
