1/1250 f/5.6, ISO 400, Delhi, India.

" THERE WAS LIGHT " ..... Canon Eos 7d+100/400 New Delhi - India 12/12/11

Thank you Simone!
I have a version with shadows closed I do not mind at all but I chose this because it respects more natural light that was truly remarkable ....

Thanks Massimo and Andrynoce

The 100/400 with the right light does not work at all bad, is a obietivo that, especially in portraits and reportage, it can give a lot of satisfaction.

Thank you Viaggiatorenotturno,
even though I tried an alternative, I'd say quesat composition is what makes it more justice to the subject ....

confirm availability and pride of the Sikhs that in my travels (alas work) in India I met several times (the next will be next month). The picture, however, is as beautiful as the other portraits you posted.

Thanks Mignoloso

Even being able to move, I would not be able to find a position where the beam of light would have been better ...

Memy, you are our Steve McCurry. Only compliments and a question: how do you get cooperation from the subject? Ask permission or steal shooting?

Thanks Bosphorus, I could imagine that you liked this more than others :-)
Personally, I meet a lot but I have to admit that I feel more vicne some photos of this trip that I posted above ..

Thanks Pisolomau
The comparison is a bit 'too difficult ......
When can I always prefer to take the shot to capture more natural expressions but many times I ask permission (in Africa or in some tribes of 'Orissa is very often necessary to pay). In India, almost always working with the actors is nothing short of fantastic, but what strikes me most, is the natural ease with which they pose in front of 'objective ......
