La Confraternita di Maria Santissima del Rosario venne fondata nel 1732. Nata nel 1552 come Compagnia dei Bianchi, si unisce nel 1732 a quella del SS. Sacramento del quale assume l' abito. Solamente i confrati appartenenti ad un ceto nobiliare potevano assistere i condannati a morte durante il trapasso e curarne la sepoltura. Le due Compagnie si divisero nel 1754 e si riunificarono nello stesso anno. A causa di nuovi dissidi sorti tra le due Congreghe, avvenne una nuova scissione il 9 maggio 1763. La Compagnia dei Bianchi fu sciolta nel 1782, anno in cui fu abolito il "Santo Uffizio". Ricomparve tre anni dopo con l'attuale denominazione ed ebbe sede presso la Chiesa di S. Domenico, attuale parrocchia di S. Giovanni Battista. Nuovamente sciolta nei primi anni del 1900, è stata ricostituita nel 1932. La Compagnia di Maria SS. del Rosario è la prima congrega a compiere l'ora di adorazione. INSEGNA - Asta in legno sulla cui sommità è scolpita la Madonna di Pompei tra S. Domenico e S. Caterina. SEDE - Chiesa parrocchiale di S. Giovanni Battista sorta nel 1559. ABITO CONFRATERNALE - Camice bianco; visiera bianca; mantella di panno color latte bordata di nero; cingolo bianco e coroncina di colore nero; al collo medaglione raffigurante la Madonna di Pompei tra S. Domenico e S. Caterina; pantaloni, scarpe e calze di colore nero.
