In aprile nella stagione piu' calda in Birmania festeggiano il capodanno detto Thingyan ovvero festa dell'acqua. Tutte le persone dai piu' grandi ai piu' piccoli si riversano nelle strade per bagnare ed essere bagnati con ogni forma di recipienti gavettoni e getti d' acqua. Il gesto simboleggia il lavar via la sfortuna e le cose brutte dell'anno appena conclusosi per iniziare l'anno nuovo. 40 °C -Mandalay 2014-

grazie Giuliano... non necessariamente... qui ero nel bel mezzo del loro capodanno (vedi descrizione sotto la foto) mi sono comunque prevenuto nel coprire obietttivo e corpo con un sacchetto di plastica onde evitare spruzzi d' acqua...
