Ciao Evelina. :) Questa supercella non ha prodotto alcun tornado, anche se per un certo momento (quello della foto) la rotazione era diventata davvero impressionante e sono scattate pure le sirene.. Pensavamo anche noi ad un tornado imminente ma poi nulla.. Grande temporale comunque!

Analizzandola meglio, stamattina ero di fretta, gli accenni di funnel e la presenza di molti fractus sono davvero evidenti!!
Credo sia stato un miracolo che non abbia toccato terra!
Ho visto anche tutta la tua serie di fotografie sulle supercelle americane... e non ti nego che mi è salita un po' di invidia, ho sempre sognato di poter fare un tour del genere anche io!
Il KS è una delle zone migliori per chi ha questa passione!

C'è stato un breve tornado proprio nelle prime fasi di vita della supercella, ma non ha toccato il suolo.  Lo stesso temporale ha fatto un secondo breve tornado questa volta con touch down circa mezz'oretta più tardi, ma noi non siamo purtroppo riusciti a vederlo perche distanti dal temporale in una zona col molti alberi e scarsa visibilità.
Grande temporale comunque, al momento dello scatto il mesociclone ruotava a vista, non era necessario fare alcun timelapse per accorgersene.
There was a brief tornado just in the early stages of life of the supercell, but did not touch the ground. :-) The same storm caused a second time with this brief tornado touch down about half an hour later, but unfortunately we are not able to see it because away from the storm in an area with lots of trees and poor visibility.
Great time, however, when shooting the mesociclone revolved in sight, it was not necessary to make any timelapse to notice.
