Hello,
I read a bit about the zeiss your topic and take this opportunity to comment on this photo that I think is the most successful of all the gallery Zeiss Distagon T * 21mm f/2.8.
I'm not a fan of tests, but this is definitely sharper (if the topic of the test was the sharpness).
I think it take to f22 (I've seen other pictures you used, and almost always the diaphragm) and yes a trial to test the lens, but I also believe that if you do a test maybe you should try first with wider apertures and then go to climb to see if it improves the definition and intermediate diaphragm ... this I think is one of the factors that leads me to think that this photo is the best.
The fact that you're doing the test according to me implies that you have to do it on a tripod also seenthe manual focus, in fact some photos in my opinion are fuorifuoco or micromosse.
Finally (has nothing to do with the test but I think may interest you) I think that the sensor of the camera is very dirty since it is known many blacks dots on other photos in the diaphragm very closed!
All this is just my opinion which may be denied at any time (again, I'm not a fanatic nor a professional test) but since no one had yet seen and commented that you are very willing to do these tests, I reported what I think! ;-)
Keep trying and you'll see that the results will come!
A greeting!

Hello,
I thank you for your constructive intervention.
The pictures do not come for a test but I got them at random (but just in case) among those taken during a Sunday outing ... I posted as-is and without taking the best because when I was buying every time I found the optics and I read hundreds of posts with examples of all retouched in post production (albeit slightly ... mah) so that then optical overt as bad churn photo to say the least worthy of being used in Hollywood to whom I told myself that maybe someone may be useful see what makes the glass that you purchase without retouching by whatever technique / composition etc ... maybe I'm wrong but I would be served :-) beyond everything I wanted to try to show the colors as they are .... maybe some better output as soon as I have time and the place for tunnels 35 and 100 certamenyou will choose those among the finest produced but never post (I have a total aversion ....) and maybe some stand out at different apertures .... :-)

ps
It was very dirty lens .... I was stuck where I did not have without closing the lens cover ...:-D

Have a nice evening
