Yes, poor fellow!
And 'one thing I've seen done to other predators, however, after the prey was dead, for example, I once saw a young lioness who after killing a wildebeest eaten the testicles and then immediately started to jump over all exhilarated as if you would repeat the scene of 'ambush ....

And 'the more easily accessible, they attack the soft parts without "peel" they do so with the females who clearly have something different from the testicles, then penetrate and intestines begin to devour. It 'a great document of Wildlife but the hyena on the left you can see too little and not bother me personally, I would have cut off.

Thank you Paul!
Another reason is that by doing so the 'animal rather than run away, to defend sits facilitating the task to the predator that does not have to make the effort to pursue.

I also had to wonder if I imagined that it would cut it and puzzled more than one person, but after thinking about it I decided to leave it to give a sense of the changing scene and the 'arrival of the other hyenas hasty ..

Roberto'd always been able to turn around from 'the other hand, where else was there for a black rhino close enough to where no one is more interested ... ;-)

Hello Massimo,
Tanzania holds for us and always very great emotion when I think about each of the twenty-odd times I've been there has always been fantastic!
Having said that, however, I must also say that some comrades apart! :-D:-D:-D obviously a joke! the 'ultimate safari for the richness and variety of situations and photographic opportunities was definitely among the best of all:-P
However, one should always keep in mind that the best safari is always the next one .... 8-):-P:-D

Here the drama takes place in three stages: the hyena comes from the left axle and the wildebeest bites back
