, 1/250 f/6.3, ISO 320, hand held.

According to me the answer is impossible, the morbidity of a goal is a lack of respect but certainly someone x is also a relief to have the interest of someone who will never be able to judge with certainty?

Beautiful face and good photo
I was not there and I can not know what his real state of 'mind, but frankly I do not think a sad look ... Anyone who knows me knows that seniors are my favorite subjects, and if you have the consent, not to photograph is certainly not because you do not respect their history, indeed ..... all 'nothing ;-)

Memy Thank you for visiting and for the comment. When I saw his face I thought it was an interesting subject and I immediately took the photos with his consent. And 'when I looked at the picture that I was puzzled, but maybe you're right it was not sadness.

Very striking also because of our collaboration with the subject. I would say that the expression may deceive but it is not sadness, I see in benevolence.

In fact, I covered the 4 photos I took and the facial expression is always the same though less frowning.
Thank you for visiting and commenting.

Paul, a wonderful photo and expression you have captured here. For me the look is that of a hard life and maybe some puzzlement of why you poke the camera at her face. It is a remarkable face showing the hardship and pain of a life that we can only imagine and thankfully not endure, regards, John..

Thank you John. Of the pictures I took in Peru is the one I like best for its expression. And 'beautiful and interesting to read that you gave of his face.
